The Nevada Division of Emergency Management (NDEM), in order to support the sharing of best practices and lessons learned from exercises conducted in Nevada, is beginning this State Exercise Officer’s BLOG with the goal of keeping emergency managers and responders throughout the state informed on the exercise program and happenings, and also to give all an avenue to discuss, ask questions, and get answers that will improve exercise programs.

This first endeavor is to inform everyone that there is an avenue of conversation available where we can share together. My hope is that there will be wide dissemination of the existence of this Blog. I hope to introduce a new subject every month. I also hope that you, my readers, will be proactive in sharing your ideas also.

My next subject to introduce is my own lesson learned: What exactly can I do with all those improvement/corrective actions created in an after-action report? So soon I will be sharing my own ideas.
